For years, I have struggled with the reflection in the mirror. I didn't think I was enough. Pretty enough, smart enough, thin enough. I simply wasn't enough by the world's standards. Then, one day, I had an epiphany. Fuck the world! The standards placed on me by society simply don't matter. Who cares if I am plus-sized? Who cares if I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world? Who cares if I don't win a Nobel Prize?

I don't owe the world a thing simply by existing. I will not apologize for the room that I take up. I also will not be sorry for being who I am.

Beauty isn't what you see in the mirror. Beauty is the kindness and gentleness you show the world. Beauty is the love you emit on a daily basis. Beauty comes from within and radiates outwards.

To quote someone special in my life: You don't have to be the most beautiful woman in the world. You simply need to be the woman who makes his world beautiful.

Knowing that I'm not alone on this journey, I decided to create a space where we can have open and honest discussions about life and the beauty of being women.
